If you’re anything like most of the couples I work with, you want your wedding day to feel honest and low-pressure—not overly rehearsed. To be honest, for most couples they say “I just want to get married.”

I’m not here to turn your ceremony into a spectacle. I’m here to keep it meaningful and make sure you leave that moment married and grounded.

I’m a legally registered Marriage Commissioner in Virginia. I’ve officiated everything from simple coffee-shop meet & marry’s to back-field intimate ceremonies and even sunset lake elopements—and I do it all with one goal:

I genuinely enjoy people. That’s why I do this work. I value clear communication, down-to-earth moments, and helping folks take the next step in life with joy.

  • I’ll be there on time and well prepared. I lead the ceremony and handle the legal paperwork.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. I’m a legally registered Marriage Commissioner based in Caroline County, Virginia. I have been conducting marriages since 2022.

  • Yes. I can guide you through the entire structure or just provide what you need. Whether it’s fully custom or just “short and sweet,” we’ll get it right!

  • Most of the time, we don’t need one. A short call before the ceremony works great. But if you’d like me present the day before, we can absolutely coordinate that.

  • Yes. I regularly travel throughout Virginia, and I’m happy to go wherever the moment calls for. I just ask for mileage, per diem, and lodging if needed.

  • Interestingly enough, Yes. While I can’t photograph the ceremony if I’m officiating, I’m happy to offer coverage before or after—group photos, portraits, or reception moments. In the footer of this site is a link to weddings that I have photographed.
